The steel bookshelf is a large-scale book display rack with the characteristics of strong bearing capacity and long service life. Not only are large libraries and archives in use, but now some friends have installed them at home. So what should be paid attention to in the installation process of steel bookshelf?
1. Keep away from water and fire
Although the steel bookshelf is moisture-proof and fireproof, it is within a certain range. If the steel bookshelf is placed in a humid environment for a long time, it is not only bad for books, but also the coating on the surface of the bookshelf will peel off early. The prevention of fire sources is mainly the power supply, to prevent the leakage of wires from hitting the steel bookshelf and cause a short circuit.
2. Ensure the level of the ground.
After installation, the bookshelf can be shaken by hand. If it doesn't shake, the ground is flat. Tilt to one side with a little force, indicating that the ground there is relatively low, and spacers can be used.
3. Avoid direct sunlight
If the steel bookshelf is close to a large window, curtains are required, and direct sunlight is not good for the coating of steel bookshelves. Windows should be normally closed so that they do not stay closed when it rains.
4. The partition is installed in place.
After the partition is installed, pull it back and forth by hand. If it doesn't wobble, it is loaded into the card slot. If it can be moved, it means it is not stuck in the card slot.
5. Tighten the screws in place.
The steel bookshelf is mainly connected by screws. Make sure all screws are tightened in place. If some of the screws are leaking tight, the steel bookshelf will be unevenly stressed and skewed.
